Monday’s Home Intrasquad Meet:

We will be having an intrasquad meet this Monday at the Lake Forest Lodge Pool. This means we will only be swimming against ourselves and not against another team. Monday is technically a bye week for our team. But because the season is already so short, we want to offer our swimmers the opportunity to swim for times under meet conditions. The times from our intrasquad meet WILL count towards qual times. The meet will be run like a normal dual meet. Lake Forest will just have all 6 lanes so more kids can swim more races and we will not have relays. See explanation of qual times below.

We will still be offering our concession stand but the night will be shorter than usual.

Attached is the heat sheet and line-up, be sure to write on your swimmer before check-in!

Because there will only be our team (half the normal amount of people of a dual meet), we are asking all swimmers to arrive at the Lodge Pool and be checked in at the age group tents at 5:15. Lake Forest warm ups will start at 5:30. Age Group parents should check in at the Volunteer Table at 5:00 to get clipboards and set up.

We want to remind parents that the starting area is for coaches, swimmers, and meet volunteers only.  You may watch from the side of the pool deck, but once age group parents have brought them to the starting area, please find a better place to watch the race.  This will help avoid confusion for our swimmers and meet officials.

Picture Day for the Lake Forest Swim & Dive Team is this Monday, June 12.

We are using a new photographer this year, TSS Photography. Many of you may know them from youth sports programs throughout the county. The schedule for pictures is listed below. You do not need to bring any money or complete any forms before taking pictures this year! Simply give your child's name to the photographer. They will email you a unique link from which you can order pictures. All photos and products will ship directly to you.
