Olivia Leftwich Head Swim Coach

Olivia Leftwich is originally from Greenville, SC and now teaches Elementary Spanish at St. Patrick Catholic School and loves her job! She graduated from Centre College in 2015 with a degree in English and a minor in Spanish. Olivia has been a swimmer since she was 8 years old: starting with summer league, then moving to Team Greenville club team, and ending her career with 4 years on the Centre Varsity swim team. She still enjoys swimming for Louisville Masters in her free time. Her favorite strokes are backstroke and freestyle; her races were the 200 back and 500 freestyle.

She has over 14 years of coaching and private lesson experience ranging in ages from infants to adults. For her summer league team she implemented and ran a private stroke clinic for the 400 swimmers on the team. Her other hobbies include reading, cycling and spending time with family and friends (especially at the lake!) She is very excited to be a part of the Lake Forest community!

Marlena Docter Assistant Swim Coach

Marlena Docter grew up right here in Lake Forest and spent 10 years swimming for the Lake Forest Swim Team. She also swam on a club team as well as on the varsity team at Assumption High School for four years. Her love for the Dolphins continued as she coached the team in 2008, 2009, and 2010.

Now, the next generation is diving in! :) Marlena’s oldest son joined the team five years ago, and today all three of her boys are old enough to swim as Dolphins. Her husband, John, teaches Physics at Trinity High School, and Marlena runs the Stroll LF neighborhood magazine. Marlena loves Lake Forest and is excited to help make the team better than ever, with a focus on technique, team spirit, and community.

Jack Pollett Assistant Swim Coach

Jack Pollett swam for the Dolphins for the last 13 summers and is returning to coach for his second year. His favorite summer memories came from the swim team and he’s excited to share his love for swimming with others.

Jack is a graduate of Trinity High School, where he swam Varsity. His favorite event was the 100 backstroke. He currently attends the University of Alabama, double-majoring in Economics and Finance. Jack is eager to help other swimmers improve while also enjoying their time on the team. He can’t wait to be around the team yet again and leave the same impact his own coaches left on him as a swimmer. Go Dolphins!!

Eme Brooks Assistant Swim Coach

Eme Brooks is excited to be a coach for Lake Forest this year. She has been looking forward to this opportunity since she was swimming in the 6-and-under age group on the team. Eme is an incoming junior at Christian Academy of Louisville and has been swimming for Lake Forest for 11 years, Christian Academy for 5 years, and Cardinal Aquatics for 2 years.

She holds Red Cross certifications in child care, CPR, and lifeguarding. Eme loves working with kids and finds so much joy in watching young swimmers grow their confidence and abilities — from being terrified to swim a 25-yard race to competing at Quals and Champs in just six short weeks. She is looking forward to a great season and cheering on the Dolphins!

Reid
Reid Highly Assistant Swim Coach

Meet Reid Highley — one of the coaches for the Lake Forest Swim Team this summer! Reid is a junior at the University of Kentucky and a graduate of St. Xavier High School, where he swam on the swim team. Swimming has been a huge part of his life since he was just 4 years old, spending every summer swimming for his neighborhood swim team all the way through age 18. A Lake Forest resident, Reid is excited to bring his experience and love of the sport to the neighborhood team this season. In addition to his swimming background, he has nearly 5 years of lifeguarding experience and has worked at Lake Forest Country Club for the past 3 summers. Reid is looking forward to helping swimmers improve their skills, build confidence, work hard, and most importantly — have fun this summer!

DIVE TEAM Robert Toole | Head Dive Coach

Robert returns to the Lake Forest Swim and Dive family as the head coach for the diving team. Robert is a USA diving coach member and has served as Lake Forest's Dive Coach for many years. He grew up in Owensboro, KY where he was the head diving coach at Atlantis Swim Club. While at Atlantis, he coached the dive team to a first place overall finish at the Owensboro City Dive Championship!

As a diver himself, he has won several city and tri-state diving tournaments and was a two time Kentucky State championship diver.

Robert is an active leader with Boy Scout Troop 212 and has been an elementary, middle, and high school robotics coach for the last ten years.
Robert and his wife Whitney have been happily married for 26 years and have lived in Lake Forest since 2004. They have six children.

Professionally, Robert has a Masters of Engineering degree from the University of Louisville J.B. Speed School of Engineering. He is currently the CTO at the Louisville based company IGear Online.
