Parents,

     One week from today on July 6th is our first qualification swim event for our 11 & older swimmers.  That will be followed by our 10 & under swimmers on July 8th.  The time has come to choose events for our swimmers to compete in the hopes of placing as one of the top 16 for their chosen events.  

    Ultimately, it is our coaches who will decide based on availability, seeding, and rank, but we would like to give each parent/swimmer an opportunity to weigh in on what strokes you would like to swim.  First, each swimmer must have a qualifying time in the stroke in order to be considered.  Qualification times can be found here.

    Using Swimmingly Fan, you can peruse our meets to identify your swimmer's times in events.  We are also hoping to have a report out soon that might assist you in knowing what events a swimmer has qualified in.  Once you know, you can then do these two things.

1st - register them on our Lake Forest Swim and Dive site for their qualification meet.  Declare them "Attending" or "Not Attending"  (and please hit "save")

11 & over quals is July 6th at Lake Forest

10 & under quals is July 8th at Owl Creek

2nd - Fill out the Google Form to assist the coaches with choosing events for your swimmer.  The deadline to choose these will be Friday by 12:00 pm.  The coaches must have those entries complete by Saturday so it is very important that we know who is attending before then.  This is an LSA League rule. The google form can be found here.  Please fill out one per swimmer.

We encourage everyone to fill out a form so that we have a record of all swimmers and nothing is left as a guess.  Even if you do not think you qualify for the qualification meet, please fill one out because we will need swimmers at Champs for relays!
