We are excited for our older swimmer quals, July 12 at Woods of St. Thomas! 11 and older swimmers in Quals should arrive at the pool and be checked into their age groups tents by 5:00. Our warm up starts at 5:20 and will be shorter than usual, so be ready! The heat sheet is attached. 

All volunteers should check in at the volunteer table. Age group parents, please arrive by 4:45 pm. Please check and make sure all the swimmers in your age group arrive at 5:00. Let Coach Olivia know if anyone is missing. When first call for your group's event is called, Age Group parents will gather all the kids swimming that event and walk them to Clerk of Course. Wait with the kids at Clerk of Course until they are all taken into the Clerk of Course area. Then tell the swimmers to meet you back at the tent when the race is over. You will not be taking the swimmers to the start lanes-- just dropping them at Clerk of Course and waiting until they are all called in.

Timers, place judges and stroke and turn judges - please be prepared to attend the timers and judges meeting at 5:30 on or near the pool deck. Listen for the announcement!

Below are some notes from our hosts:

Concessions will be located outside the pool in the front under the Clubhouse. They will have candy, chips, drinks, pizza and Chick-fil-A sandwiches for sale. Our concession stand accepts cash and card. 

To help mitigate some traffic on deck near the clerk of course where our restrooms are located, we will have a couple of Porta Potty’s set-up in the parking lot towards the back. 

We will be directing all traffic onto the pool deck through the front/main entrance for both swimmers and parents and will then have everyone exit the pool via back gate. 

The Clubhouse is only available for use by LSA officials and coaches. We will be having a short 10-15 minute halftime break and will be offering a sandwiches, chips and water to all coaches and LSA officials in the Clubhouse. 

Some Parking is available in the Woods St Thomas parking lot with the overflow parking continuing into the neighborhood on one side on Fallen Leaf Circle. Please observe the No Parking signs around and only park on one side of the street as marked in the neighborhood with houses. You can park on both sides of the street past the median near the apartments on Aspenwood Ave.
